A WORD FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE NGO OTAA

Created in 2023, I have been thinking about the idea of setting up the NGO OTAA since I was a teenager. In fact, all it took was a history-geography lesson on food waste to awaken the ecological fiber in me. From then on, I set out to learn about sustainable development as well as renewable energies with a view to making it my career.

After high school, I enrolled in law, thinking of doing environmental law after my degree. However, once I obtained my license I became convinced that the law was too simplistic and that I wanted to have a more complete vision of sustainable development. It is with this in mind that I chose to enroll at the Catholic Institute of Paris to obtain a Master's degree in environmental policy and sustainable development management.

After obtaining my Master's degree in 2021 during the Covid pandemic, I completed an internship in Abidjan at the National Waste Agency then in Dubai at Averda, still in the waste management sector.

Then, I returned to Congo and launched into events. I organized gourmet dinners in Congo Brazzaville and Congo Kinshasa, allowing me to improve my organizational and relational skills, which allowed me to create the NGO OTAA in 2023.

People often don't understand what sustainable development is because it is a rather abstract idea. But nothing is more concrete than not wasting food because others need it and don't have enough to eat. Nothing is more concrete and yet so little highlighted, than being able to have hygienic protection to live with dignity.

These causes are concrete and change the lives of the most deprived people to enable them to live with dignity.

This is why I want to be the bearer of this message.
